About the project

Bringing the greatest minds to every learner.

The goal is to turn education into an experience — so that every student can learn whenever and wherever they want.

The Knowledge Revolution is a Deep Learning project developed by the FBAI's team (Future Builders of AI) at ESPRIT, following the Challenge Based Learning (CBL) approach, under the supervision of Mr. Safouane Jebali and Mrs. Wided Askri.

Using deep learning, multimodal AI and generative AI, the project creates 3D avatars of professors, thinkers and great minds that can speak with a voice and answer students' questions. Students can learn whenever and wherever they want — the best teachers and minds come to them, at home or anywhere else.

The problem, in the students' words

Problem statement

Six situations every student recognizes.

  • 1

Attended, but couldn’t ask in front of everyone.

  • 2

    Missed the lecture.

  • 3

    Attended, still lost.

  • 4

Tried an existing platform, still stuck.

  • 5

    Nobody answered my email.

  • 6

Rewatched the recording twice — same confusion.

Real students' comments online

“Is anyone there?”

They all end with the same cry.

Illustration of a stressed student holding their head in front of a laptop and an open book.
  • Student comment posted online: “One of my teachers won’t even share the syllabus.. THE SYLLABUS”
  • Student comment posted online: “my prof won’t let us take pictures bc the slides are her “intellectual property” but I paid $600 for this class??”
  • Student comment posted online: “Real I’m just there for the attendance grade. I learn nothing”
  • Student comment posted online: “I’m freshman and I go home with nothing on my head, I’m hopeless, how could some people still understand the lesson”
  • Student comment posted online: “7 college classes. I AM UNWELL”
  • Student comment posted online: “I go to class to make sure I’m teaching myself right”
  • Student comment posted online: “all they do is showing a powerpoint that was also uploaded online and read off it”

Our objectives

The question we answer, the challenge we accept.

Essential question

How can we make the best knowledge available to every learner, wherever and whenever they are?

The challenge

Allow every student, wherever they are, to ask questions and learn face to face from the best teachers and minds, in their own language.

Our vision

What changes for students.

  • Real teachers' knowledge, available anytime.

  • Every student gets an explanation that fits them.

  • Students ask freely, without judgment.

Our approach

How we plan to get there.
